Remember oceanfront accommodations may be located close to the ocean, such as across the street and it may provide a side view or a more distant view of the ocean. But it still means easy access to the beach.
Other terms such as “mountain view,” “garden view,” “pool view,” etc., means that those views are offered, but probably don’t include a view of the ocean.
